NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2020

16th – 20th March

For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.

Ephesians 2:14-76

Dear friends and family, It is a great joy and honour for us to prepare for you the 2020 National Conference, which will be held in March at Merroo Christian Conference Centre. It is our prayer that you and your team will start planning now to join us for this conference experience. We will be hosting a diversity of passionate speakers to ensure that your conference week is amazing.

Our keynoter speaker is Dr Lohan Bibile, from Galle in Sri Lanka. Our theme for this conference is “One New Humanity”. In the LCIA family of churches, we strive to bear witness to this truth. God has gathered us from all nations to become one new human, in Christ Jesus. A new people to declare his name to the nations, made possible because of reconciliation through the cross.

Please feel free to forward this email to any other persons who might be interested. We also encourage you to invite your leadership teams, young leaders and any emerging leaders. So, save the date and get ready to encounter God in a week that’s not to be missed.

Much love – Graeme and Mandy

DR LOHAN BIBILE

Lohan Bibile is the Senior Pastor of The Hope Centre, Galle, Sri Lanka. His vision for the church is ‘A Church Without Walls’. This statement implies a vision for a church that is free from the cultural, ethnic, racial, social, geographical, political walls that tend to divide humanity. In 2006, he started leading The Hope Centre in Galle, which has grown to become the largest church in the gospel resistant south of Sri Lanka. Almost his entire congregation is made up of first generation Christians, a reflection of his desire to go to unreached areas across Sri Lanka and South Asia with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Lohan has served in South Asia and the Far East, especially amongst unreached people groups.
